German professional automobile racer starts his racing career from junior ranks at the age of 10. Nico Hulkenberg was born on 19th August 1987 in Emmerich am Rhein, West Germany and holds the record of only driver with the most starts who has never been on the podium. Nico drives Renault F1 Team in formula one and gained recognition by winning 24 Hours of Le Mans in 2015. At the age of nine, he commenced his karting career and won 2002 German Junior championship and also German Kart Championship in 2003.
In 2005, his journey in Formula racing started as he joined German Formula BMW and finished third in the subsequent Formula BMW World Final.
